They did their best I guess. I came here straight from the airport, sat in with my luggage actually. They were very accommodating and the staff had excellent customer service which is why this gets 4 stars. My food wasn't great, not even good. They made attempts to rectify but I wasn't interested.

Amelia has a great staff, awesome menu, the atmosphere is peaceful and spacious. It felt good just to sit for a moment while I waited for my shrimp and grits which was quite delicious. Want to thank you Amelia for the tour for the food and the atmosphere a great place to eat. Thank you so much, Edd

Service was great, food was great! Portions are big. We got the mole meatballs, they have a kick to them but were delicious. The freshly fired flatbread was amazing. I ordered the scallops, delicious and my husband the filet, he suggests skipping the peas. We shared the farmers salad as well and it was a lot of food but well worth the price!

We visited Kitchen West, exhausted, after a long day of hiking around Scottsdale with a strong unwillingness to leave our room for another restaurant off the resort. Needless to say, it wasn't our first choice for dinner, but it really should have been. Kitchen West has an excellent, refined seasonal menu that delivers a surprisingly large amount of delicious food at reasonable prices and very classy presentation. We had the mole meatballs as our appetizer - they arrived delicious, moist and full of spice. The entrees we picked were the salmon and seafood pasta primavera. The salmon arrived just slightly on the overcooked side of perfect, but the sides that came with it, including a corn salad, verde rice and puree were excellent. I loved my pasta, which was light, airy and came packed with enormous and well spiced shrimp. It was much more food than we expected to get at a restaurant of this caliber. If we had only one regret, it's that we didn't order a burger on our way out - it's not well publicized on their dinner menu but is very popular with anyone ordering room service. Great experience. Would definitely go back again.
